WASHINGTON- Rep. Howard P. “Buck” McKeon made the following statement on news that President Obama has signed the Sequestration Transparency Act into law.
“Within 30 Days, the Commander-In-Chief will have to do what this Committee, the Secretary of Defense, and our commanders around the world began doing a year ago- face the catastrophic consequences of the cuts he signed into law. The time for finger pointing and political recriminations has passed. Now there are only a few days left to find a solution. House Republicans have acted. I look forward to the President’s leadership in brining Senate Democrats to the table.”
