The above spreadsheet estimates the impact on all 50 states of sequestration cuts and Export-Import Bank (Ex-Im) cuts combined, based on the 2012 expenditure baseline.
The First columns show the dollar value of defense contracts throughout the United States, and the estimated 9% annual budget reduction, as well as, the estimated 18% cuts to defense contracts due to sequestration.
The additional columns, highlight state-by-state loan disbursement and sales totals from the Ex-Im Bank in 2012, and estimated both a 25% and 50% loss in export sales to foreign buyers due to potential inability of foreign customers to find alternative credit financing without backing from the Ex-Im Bank.
